Design, contents and the large number of methods and procedures of our approach are owed to long lasting experiences and results of scientific and practical work in complexity research. Emphasising questions of humans dealing with complexity in the sense of interconnected, dynamic, uncertain and non-transparent problems in different areas of reality. As a basic principle the analyses of fields of problems, the efforts in problem solving and finally the achieved results meet high formal standards. So already the acquisition of data matches scientific criteria even under difficult conditions of practice. Same applies for the development of theoretical concepts and their derivations. Not surprisingly, there is a close proximity to mathematical disciplines.

This special kind of analytical approach is applied to all processes of our complexity management. To make things a bit more transparent about our used methods and parameters subsequently some basic ideas are elaborated in detail.
